Sculpture Saint John had a volunteer base of more than 125 people.
Volunteers are involved from the first step of preparations for each symposium, acting as board and committee members; helping organize special fundraising, education, and sponsorship events; overseeing merchandise; facilitating marketing and communications; and developing outreach strategies for the public. Throughout the four-week symposium, volunteers were on site, greeting and providing guided tours to visitors, and assisting artists and interns with on site support.They were the heart and soul of this event.
The success we achieved together will last for generations and their efforts are something that they, their families and friends can justifiably be proud of. The gift of time and effort each and every volunteer gave is greatly appreciated no matter how small or large.
